About us
Mannos: a story of roots, pride and belonging
Going back to her roots
A courageous and determined woman, born in Sardinia but raised far from the island, who has never forgotten where she comes from.
A woman who has decided to dedicate herself to helping and promoting the young leading players of the future economy, the small producers who, with hard work and passion, create every day Sardinia's most precious food and wine products.
The Mannos project was born out of Maria Giovanna's intuition and boundless passion for her homeland.

THE mission
To promote and preserve the quality of traditional Sardinian food and wine production by supporting the work of local producers.
We want to achieve these goals by offering everyone, in an innovative and collaborative way, the opportunity to discover, learn about and enjoy the fruits of our land and the small producers of high-quality produce who have chosen to work it with respect, courage and absolute devotion.
Through our adoptions and experiences on offer, you become a co-producer and learn about the origins, the growth and the production processes of what we eat.
LA Vision
A digital community where the consumer becomes not only the recipient but also the protagonist of local food and wine production.
Adopting and taking part in experiences with Mannos means joining a large family, which uses digital tools to ensure that the traditional Sardinian culture of good food spreads beyond its natural borders.
In a sustainable and responsible way, everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the authenticity of a world of centuries-old culture, which is based on the values of goodness, quality and well-being.

The land of longevity
Mannos in the Sardinian language means "The Great". A reference to the ancestors of Sardinia, ancient custodians of thousand-year-old food and wine traditions.
An invaluable heritage, handed down from generation to generation, which our local producers continue on in their crafts, with pride and passion.
We pass on our values, based on respect for the Earth and sustainability, as well as the secrets of local food and wine traditions in a unique setting: the island of Sardinia.
An island full of colours, scents and flavours. A treasure chest that preserves the ancient wisdom of centenarians. They are the true witnesses of well-being, authenticity and good social unity, which make Sardinians one of the longest-living people in the world.
