1. What are Mannos adoptions?
Our adoptions are a unique and engaging way to get to know the world of traditional Sardinian products better. It is an experience that allows you to learn in depth about the production process, to visit the place of production, and at the end to receive the product itself with a different level of awareness than a normal purchase would give you.

2. How long do the adoptions last?
The adoption lasts for one year and is not automatically renewed. If you want to, you can renew it when it expires.

3. How do the Mannos adoptions work?
Once the adoption fee is paid, over the course of the year the participant will receive regular updates with various information and details regarding their chosen product. In addition, he/she will have the opportunity to visit the production site to learn more about the tradition and the production process and meet the producers directly. As stated on the specific adoption page, the adoption contents will be shipped at the indicated time.

4. What type of products can I adopt?
We have decided to offer the main ingredients and products of Sardinian cuisine. Currently available are: red wine, extra virgin olive oil, pecorino cheese, flours and honey. Each product has its own dedicated adoption package with specific contents for a unique experience related to its production.
As we identify new products that meet our requirements of authenticity and sustainability, we will add them to our currently available adoption packages.

5. How can I buy an adoption package?

You can purchase directly from our website where you will find detailed information about all the different adoptions available.

6. Can I buy an adoption as a gift for someone else?

Mannos adoptions are the perfect gift for food and wine lovers. Simply select the 'It's a gift' option during the booking process. Then you will be given the option to personalise the label with whatever name you decide.

7. What are the Mannos experiences?

The Mannos experiences are visits to production sites of our traditional products, where you will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities and guided tastings, together with the producers themselves.

8. What types of activities are included in the food and wine experiences?

Activities vary depending on the product and on the time of year. We offer wine-related experiences, such as pruning vines, grape sampling and grape harvesting; harvesting and pressing olives, the discovery of beekeeping, cheese-making and sheep shearing. Each experience involves the direct involvement of participants.

9. How long do the food and wine experiences last?

The duration of the experiences varies depending on the type of experience and the booking selection made. Check the experience features on the individual experience pages.

10. Can I participate in the food and wine experiences even if I have no experience in that area?

Our experiences are designed to be accessible to all, both experts and people who are simply curious to find out more about the world of agricultural trades. Participants will be provided with all the necessary equipment to carry out the activities safely and comfortably. However, comfortable footwear suitable for the places being visited is required.

11. How can I buy a food and wine experience?

You can purchase directly from our website where you will find detailed information about all the experience packages available. You can choose your preferred date, which we will then communicate to the producer. If the producer is available the date will be confirmed, otherwise we will propose an alternative date to you.

12. What happens in case of bad weather or last-minute unforeseen events?

In case of bad weather or unforeseen events, we will try to find you the first available date suitable for the experience. The voucher for the experience is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.

13. Can I buy a food and wine experience as a gift for someone else?

The Mannos experiences are the perfect gift for food and wine lovers. Simply select the 'It's a gift' option during the booking process and provide us with information about the participant(s).
