In Ogliastra, among the pastures and Mediterranean scrubland of Tertenia, Beatrice takes care of her herd every day. She is a young farmer who has chosen to follow in her father’s footsteps, carrying on an age-old profession that requires dedication, patience and a deep respect for the rhythms of nature.

For a year, you’ll follow her life through the updates we send you, discovering how the shepherdess’s work changes with the seasons, how the herd grows and the activities that are part of everyday life on a goat farm in Sardinia. 

But there’s something that makes this adoption even more special! Whenever you like during the year, you can arrange a visit with Beatrice and join her on the farm to spend a few hours together. You’ll be able to meet your goat, hear about her work, discover the characteristics of the Sardinian goat and experience, for a few hours, the daily life of a young shepherdess.

SARDINIAN GOAT ADOPTION FEATURES

A Mannos adoption can be made at any time of the year and lasts for twelve months.

Throughout the year, you will receive updates that allow you to follow the life of your goat and discover, step by step, Beatrice’s work and the natural cycle of goat farming.

The adoption also includes the opportunity to meet your goat in person and spend time with Beatrice, experiencing the everyday life of a shepherdess and her herd.

Every visit will be different, as it follows the rhythms of the farm and the seasons, with different activities, landscapes and stories throughout the year.
