And we’d like to tell you this through the story of a truly special experience.
Seven women set out on a journey to fulfil a dream: visiting the world’s Blue Zones. Among their destinations, Sardinia was an essential stop, and we had the privilege of accompanying them into one of its most authentic regions: the Mandrolisai.
Waiting to welcome them were Maria Giovanna, Francesca, Marianna, and Antonella—Sardinian women who proudly preserve and pass on the traditions and culture of their land every single day.
It was an immersive journey into the culture of craftsmanship: from visiting the traditional mill, where flour is still produced using ancient millstones, to sharing the experience of preparing sa coccoedda pintada and sa coccoedda cun s’ou by hand—traditional breads that embody relationships, identity, and heritage.
A simple lunch of genuine local flavours and heartfelt hospitality soon turned into a celebration. Stories were shared, laughter echoed around the table, and glasses of Mandrolisai wine were raised among the vineyards at sunset.
An experience marked by silence, gratitude, and genuine human connection.
This special day was made possible thanks to Maurizio from The Great Wellbeing, who chose Mannos to offer his guests a slow, meaningful way to discover Sardinia.

This experience also came to life thanks to NODI, the community led by Federico Esu, where our founder Maria Giovanna first met Maurizio Porcu.

What does it really mean to build networks today?
