After visiting the farm and admiring the sheep, the time will come for you to get actively involved in the production of Sardinian Pecorino Cheese.
The shepherd will guide you step by step, explaining the ancient processing techniques and sharing his immense passion with you. You will learn how to select fresh milk from the sheep, to curdle it and to shape the cheeses with care and skill.

The making of a pecorino sardo form

SEASONAL VARIATIONS OF THE cheesemaking EXPERIENCE 

From December until early February, when the ewes are nursing the lambs, there is the possibility to enhance your experience even further, starting with milking the sheep by hand. An unmissable opportunity to enjoy an experience you will never forget.

where the EXPERIENCE takes place

The Cheesemaking Experience takes place in Olbia, in northern Sardinia. Olbia is about 260 km from Cagliari and 135 km from Alghero. 

Within a short distance, you can also participate at the Sardinian Beekeeping Experience
