Your experience with a winemaker
The grape harvest is the most characteristic moment of wine production, a hectic time when the grapes, cultivated and cared for all year round, are finally harvested and taken to the cellar.
The time period is limited. Within just a few weeks, from mid-September to early October, the grape harvest must be completed, precisely at the moment when the grapes are at their ripest point.
In the past, during the grape harvest, friends and relatives would all come together to pick the fruit of an entire year's work and then celebrate together.
In the small town of Atzara, in the Mandrolisai region, this still happens to this very day. The Mannos winemaker, Antonella, is ready and waiting to welcome you and accompany you in this incredible experience.
The duration is up to you, either half a day or a full day. In addition to moments of active participation, the experience also includes opportunities for relaxation and socialising where you can talk and share experiences accompanied by a glass of fine Mandrolisai wine.
You will be treated to a tasty typical snack and, if you choose the full day option, you will also enjoy a generous lunch. These will be special unique moments, the memories of which will stay with you forever.

WHERE THE EXPERIENCE TAKES PLACE
The Sardinian Grape Harvesting Experience takes place in Atzara, a village in the heart of Sardinia, located in the historical region of Mandrolisai. The village is about 130 km from Cagliari, 165 km from Olbia and 135 km from Alghero.
Also in Atzara, you can participate at the Winemaker for a Day Experience and at the Sardinian Winemaking Experience.
