Your experience with a winemaker
Collecting samples of grapes in the period immediately prior to harvest time allows us to understand the level of ripeness of the grapes and therefore to plan the harvest accordingly.
This technique plays a key role in the quality of the product.
Indeed, it is the grapes’ composition which determines the quality of the wine and the quantity and quality can already be determined in the period immediately prior to harvesting.
Here in the small town of Atzara, in the Mandrolisai region, you will use the tools of the trade under the guidance of the Mannos winemaker and will become an expert in the study of grapes in preparation for the grape harvest!
There will, of course, be time for sharing and tasting the fantastic Mandrolisai wine accompanied by a delicious platter of cold meats and cheeses.
Furthermore, if you wish to, you can participate, again in an active way, in a true typical lunch, with the best Sardinian products accompanied by the king of the table, the Mandrolisai wine.

WHERE THE EXPERIENCE TAKES PLACE
The Winemaker for a Day Experience takes place in Atzara, a village in the heart of Sardinia, located in the historical region of Mandrolisai. The village is about 130 km from Cagliari, 165 km from Olbia and 135 km from Alghero.
Also in Atzara, you can participate at the Sardinian Grape Harvesting Experience and at the Sardinian Winemaking Experience.
